“If you want to change the world, start with yourself.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi
I believe that change is possible.
I’m committed to supporting leaders as they build the capacity to lead with greater clarity and connection—especially under sustained pressure.
I’ve seen meaningful change happen when leaders aren’t carrying responsibility alone. With the support of a trusted partner, they can examine how they relate to pressure, expectations, and responsibility, and make intentional shifts in how leadership is carried.
My work supports leaders and organizations through that process, so leadership feels clearer, steadier, and more sustainable over time.
I didn’t always understand leadership through the lens of capacity.
For decades, I carried a great deal—career growth, promotions, relocations, parenting, marriage and divorce, a second marriage, caring for an aging parent, and eventually the unexpected end of my corporate career.
I was committed, capable, and successful. I took pride in my work and cared deeply about doing it well. I also learned early to put the needs of others first, to exceed expectations, and to measure success through achievement and approval.
At times, my work brought a strong sense of purpose. When that sense of purpose faded, so did my steadiness. I would regroup, find a new role, and begin again—carrying responsibility forward without pausing to examine what it required internally.
What I didn’t yet understand was that the issue wasn’t motivation or commitment.
It was capacity.
I was living in a familiar cycle…
I was living in a familiar cycle for many leaders—what’s often described as burnout, but is more accurately a pattern of sustained pressure without sufficient capacity.
I moved from the early satisfaction of a new role, to rising stress, to chronic strain, and eventually to another role—relying on determination and survival strategies, but without the tools to regulate stress, manage energy, or recover effectively.
By 2018, the cost of that pattern had become undeniable. Stress and overwhelm were at an all-time high, along with a growing sense of disconnection from my work and myself. When my corporate career ended unexpectedly, it marked a turning point—one that required me to examine not just what I did for work, but how I had been carrying responsibility for years.
That moment wasn’t about finding more balance or fulfillment. It was about understanding capacity—how it’s built, how it’s depleted, and how leadership can become unsustainable without it.
That understanding led me to the work I do today.
Today I’m a coach, speaker, and podcaster...
My work supports leaders and organizations navigating sustained pressure, complexity, and change—helping leaders lead with clarity and presence, strengthen performance without burnout, and build leadership practices that can be carried over time.
I’m trained in the principles and practices of the Neuroscience of Change and the Continuous Improvement Career Coaching© Model. My coaching approach emphasizes awareness, integration, and purposeful action—supporting sustainable leadership rather than short-term coping.
